Rose M. Verkovod

Rose M. Tesla Verkovod, age 91, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Lawrence Verkovod, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2022 in West River Rehabilitation with her loving family by her side. Rose was born on December 17, 1930 in Stratford and was the daughter of the late Stephen and Anna Kleja Tesla. She was a lifelong resident of Stratford, she graduated from Stratford High School and worked as a waitress at the Windmill for many years. Rose is survived by three sons, James Whaley of Stratford, John Whaley of Stratford and Loren Verkovod and wife, Kristi of Stratford, two daughters, Roseann Whaley Rocks and husband, Bob of Colorado and Lisa Verkovod of Milford, many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and one brother-in-law, Joseph Twarog of Florida. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
