Rosemary C. (Cwalina) Lankton

Rosemary Cwalina Lankton, age 84, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late John Lankton Jr., passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024 in Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side. Rosemary was born in Bridgeport on March 5, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Eckert Cwalina. She was employed by ADP for many years and enjoyed knitting, quilting, reading, spending time with family and was an avid of the Uconn Women’s Basketball team. She was a board member of The Kennedy Center Auxiliary and a longtime volunteer at the auxiliaries new and nearly new thrift shop.  Rosemary is survived by two daughters, Kelly Lankton and partner, Linda Burgess and Joanne Lankton, several grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews and the SSL’s. In addition to her beloved husband, John, Rosemary was also predeceased by one brother, Tommy Cwalina and one sister, Gloria Jenson. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. James Church, 2070 Main Street, Stratford, where A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Peter Adamski. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford.
