Susan Maielli

Maielli, Susan Palumbo Maielli, age 69, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Antonio Maielli, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2016 in her residence with her loving family by her side. Susan was born on December 2, 1946 in Troia, Italy and was the daughter of the late Ludovico and Antoinetta Sepielli Palumbo. She was the proprietor of Anna's of Stratford where she was a hairdresser for several years. Susan enjoyed cooking Sunday dinner for her family and cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren. Susan is survived by one son, Anthony Maielli of Seymour, two daughters, Laura Cassese of Trumbull and Lisa Cassese-Posta and husband Anthony of Shelton, seven grandchildren, Angelica, Lilly, Antonio, Robert, Nicholas, Natalia and Lila, two brothers, Vincent Palumbo and Michael Palumbo and his wife, Darlene, four sisters, Christina Gigliotti, Grace Martino and her husband, Tony, Mary Toma and her husband, Peter, Connie DeBrizzi and her husband, Thomas and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 21, 2016 at 10:30 AM in St. Mary's Church, 70 Gulf Street, Milford where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Milford. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
