William Suhy Obituary

Suhy, William M. Suhy, age 75, formerly of Stratford, passed away on February 13, 2021 in Charlotte, North Carolina. William was born in Bridgeport on September 24, 1945 and was the son of the late William and Anna Potocny Suhy. He graduated from Notre Dame Catholic High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Fairfield University. William was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and was a kind, decent, generous and devoutly religious man, who had a strong faith in God. In addition to his wife, Barbaranne of Charlotte, North Carolina, William was also survived by one brother, David W. Suhy of Stratford, his aunt, Ceil P. Hamilton of Sunrise, Florida, several cousins and Barbaranne’s family. A graveside service was conducted for William at Charlotte Memorial Gardens in Charlotte, North Carolina on February 24, 2021. The Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home of Matthews, North Carolina was entrusted with the arrangements.
